An uncertain ratio...
Nobody wants to be cheated. We all want an equal share of the booty or resources we are told to share, so as much as we don't want to be cheated, we should not cheat others also. These things work both ways.
When the ratio is uncertain, we find a ratio that is beneficial to both parties and then everyone is happy. In the case when there is a selfish party in the equation, these things does not end in a good way.
Quite frankly, no one would in a normal sense leave an uncertain sharing ratio, that would cause for a division in the first instance. And when sharing something, make sure it is open to others, have a witness who can verify what you have done. This will help a lot, because humans can be so funny.

In the eyes of others, the ratio of life has always been unbalanced because they see situations that are only the facade of the torrent of despair they are currently battling.
It is within our minds and perspective if we choose to understand because if we did, we will see the world in much balanced way.
