Chamomile...

Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
I want to share with you the drawing of the lovely flower I drew called Chamomile.

It's not as if I am now obsessed with flowers, but it is a task I had to do for someone and I could not resist sharing it with you.

I'll give a little background of the Chamomile flower below:

Chamomile (American English) or camomile (British English; see spelling differences) (/ˈkæməmaɪl, -miːl/ KAM-ə-myle or KAM-ə-meel[1][2]) is the common name for several daisy-like plants of the family Asteraceae. Two of the species, Matricaria chamomilla and Chamaemelum nobile, are commonly used to make herbal infusions for beverages.[3][4][5] There has been limited (though thus far insufficient) research as to whether consuming chamomile in foods or beverages is effective in treating medical conditions, although in Hungarian it is referred to as the "king of herbs" (orvosi székfű).Link

The flower also has quite a number of benefits to humans, some of which are:

Chamomile preparations are commonly used for many human ailments such as hay fever, inflammation, muscle spasms, menstrual disorders, insomnia, ulcers, wounds, gastrointestinal disorders, rheumatic pain, and hemorrhoids. Essential oils of chamomile are used extensively in cosmetics and aromatherapy.Link

This is why I love the plant, it is as lovely as it is helpful and beneficial to human kind.
