Correspond || a five minute prompt

I have written something on correspond, or maybe it is correspondence. But I guess that was last year, I still can't remember the full details.

The mail I sent was successful.
I was glad I was able to send it because it was long overdue.
Later on the recipient reached out to me and confirmed he has received the mail.
But the content was not consistent with the title and all the details were incorrect.
It did not correspond.
There was simply no correlation between what I wrote and what I needed to write.
Correction was necessary.
I hope it correspond this time.
