Flea Surgeon || a five minute prompt
Fleas are wingless insects, 1.5 to 3.3 millimetres (1⁄16 to 1⁄8 inch) long, that are agile, usually dark colored (for example, the reddish-brown of the cat flea), with a proboscis, or stylet, adapted to feeding by piercing the skin and sucking their host's blood through their epipharynx. Link
I know fleas are very small insects, you can hardly notice they are around you. Their size gives them the ability to fly very close to the skin unnoticed. They suck blood and spread diseases too. I don't know if there is a surgeon for fleas but their bite need to be treated.

Yes, it is surprising.
Fleas have been vectors of the bacteria responsible for pandemics of the Black Death, such as the one in the 14th century that decimated half of Europe's population at the time, as well as the pandemic in the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Europe. It should also be noted that fleas can cause severe anemia in both humans and animals, such as dogs.
