Shark Tank || a five minute prompt
Initially I thought the prompt was literal, a tank with a shark. But it still does not add why a shark would be in a tank instead of it's natural habitat.
I discovered that the shark tank is an expression that shows the competitive actions amongst entrepreneur to attract the attention of the investors. It appears there is a TV show where this idea is showcased. I have not seen this show before, but I have heard of it a while ago. The investors pick the entrepreneur they think is best and they incest in the business. It is a way of giving back to the community.
The investors are referred to as the shark, while the tank are the entrepreneurs. I love the analogy of the concept, especially because it is the opportunity of the real life situation. While people run away from the shark, in this case they run towards the shark, hoping the shark selects them. The investors being the shark have a variety of individuals to select from, and they make their selection based on their criteria. Quite a concept!
