I know a theorist to be a person that dwells basically on theories, he even propagates theories himself. He believes in theories.
But sometimes these theories are just theories.
Sometimes theories don't work the way we presume they will work, I guess that's why they are called theories. A theorist has a major work to do in designing a theory.
