Bangladesh the winner of First T-20 !!

Today Bangladesh played against Afghanistan in the first match of the two-match T20 series . After winning the series in ODIs, the Tigers came down with the aim of winning the T20 series as well. This match started at sharply 3 pm at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Everyone is hoping for a good game to watch, but that didn’t happened in the field. Let’s discuss about this match….

At the beginning of the day Mahmudullah's team decided to bat after winning the toss . But the battle didn't go as well as expected. Afghanistan lost Against Bangladesh by 61 runs. Mohammad Nabi's team stopped at only 94 runs while chasing 155 runs made by Bangladesh in batting first. Bangladesh has two heroes in both batting and bowling in that match. Liton brought the fighting capital by playing an innings of 60 runs from 44 balls with the bat. Liton Das has carried his form of the ODIs here as well. On the other hand, Nasum took crucial 4 wickets with giving only 10 runs in 4 overs and ruined the visitors. This is where they make the difference in that match.

Chasing 156 runs, Afghanistan started struggling to bat from the first ball. Hazratullah Zazai survived for a while by catching Nasum's first ball. But he couldn't survive on the field for long. But,the wicket fell in the first over. After getting strike, Rahmanullah Gurbaj returned with a catch in the second ball. Even after getting life twice, Zazai couldn't use the opportunity. Nasum Ahmed also picked up Darwish Rasuli in that over. Karim Jannat also fell victim to Nasum in the third over. In the power play, the Afghans collected only 20 runs, by losing four wickets. Afghanistan couldn't play Nasum's ball in any way.

Azmatullah Omarzai and Captain Nabi tried to control the situation . But Shakib Al Hasan broke their 36-run partnership. By getting Nabi's wicket, Bangladesh's top star completed his 400th wicket in limited edition cricket. Nabi caught in the cover while flying inside out with Shakib's ball. In his next over, Najibullah Zadran caught in the square leg. The Afghans lost control of the match as they lost 6 wickets for only 60 runs. None of them were able to perform a miracle in the end.

Earlier, Bangladesh didn't have a good start after winning the toss and opting to bat. Fazal Haque Farooqi strikes early by getting wickets of Naim Seakh with just 2 runs off 5 balls. Debutant opener Munim Shahriar showed the intent. But he can't continue his batting.

After Shakib's departure Liton gave confidence to the team in the middle of the wicket fall. He takes time to settle down to demand the situation. He hitted Boundaries and over boundaries whenever the opportunity arises. In the middle of the pressure, he scored his fifty with 34 balls. He scored 33 runs in partnership with Mahmudullah and 46 runs in partnership with Afif Hossain. Bangladesh finally finished a total of 155 runs. That capital later becomes quite large for Afghans.

Nasum Ahmed proved his worth against the Afghans. After 6 months and 6 matches, he again bowled the best bowling performance of his career. The spinner took the limelight of the match by taking 4 wickets for 10 runs against Afghanistan.
