The England team is currently staying in India to play the five-match Test series. The first test match between the two teams has already been held. In this test match full of drama, the England team won by defeating the Indians. Beating India in Tests on Indian soil is not easy at all. Because there is no other team better than India in Asian conditions. We all know about the superiority of India on the grounds of Asia!

The first Test match between India and England was played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. England captain Ben Stokes decided to bat after winning the toss at the beginning of this match. The main goal of the team was to put India under pressure by batting at the beginning. But in the first innings, England couldn't fully implement their plan.

In the first innings, two English batsmen Jack Crowley and Ben Duckett came to open for England. These two openers started well for the team. England completed the team's fifty runs without losing any wickets in tough playing conditions like India. But then the rampage of India's spinners began. The visiting England team lost the first three wickets with a gap of six runs in the spin whirl of Ravichandran Asun and Ravindra Jadeja. The team lost 3 wickets for 60 runs and was under pressure.

Two batsmen, Joe Root and Olle Pope completed the team's 100 runs by dealing with that pressure. But they also could not survive in the field for long. Captain Ben Stokes is the only batsman to complete personal fifty runs. Ben Stokes' 70 runs and a little contribution from the talented batsmen at the end of England's first innings stopped at 246 runs. On the other hand, the Indian players gave a great performance with the bat in response to England's first innings.

In addition to an excellent innings of 80 runs by the young batsman Jaisual in the opening, India's innings will be 436 runs with the great batting of KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja. As a result, the host India team got a huge lead of 190 runs in the match. After such a good performance in the first innings, everyone thought that hosts India would easily win this match. But after such a good performance, the Indian team led by captain Rohit Sharma had to watch the coin flip, it was incredible!

England's second innings stopped at 420 runs after going down to bat in their second innings. Ole Pope, came to bat for England with a record with the bat. This batsman could not complete a personal 200 runs for only 4 runs. As the last batsman, this batsman played a historic innings of 196 runs before he was bowled out by Bomerra. As a result, India's lead of 190 runs was set at 230 runs.

In their second innings, the Indian batsmen completely failed with the bat. Despite a good start to the innings, the host team failed to reach the target of 230 runs. Australian spinner Tom Hartley single-handedly crushed the Indian batting lineup. India's second innings stopped at 202 runs when this bowler alone hunted for seven wickets. As a result, the official England team won the match by 28 runs. With this victory, the five-match test series went 1-0 to England. England and India will meet tomorrow in the second test!
