Australia T20 World Cup ended with an exciting final. Current ODI World Cup champions England won the T20 World Cup by defeating Asian superpower Pakistan. England won the T20 World Cup for the first time in 2010. Pakistan also won its first title in 2009 under the leadership of Imran Khan.

After many years, Pakistan couldn't win another title in this format. On the other hand, England reached the final in 2016 but left the field with a dramatic loss in the last over. Now in the 2022 Australia World Cup, they have another chance to win the title.

Where the England team had the last laugh. England and Pakistan met in the title-deciding final at Australia's traditional Melbourne Cricket Ground. After losing the toss and batting first, Pakistan could score 137 runs for 8 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Despite batting well in the first ten overs, Pakistan's batsmen couldn't bat well in the last overs.

As a result, the collection of small runs given by Pakistan England passed it easily. In this match, Ben Stokes' career-best innings helped England secure their second title in the T20 World Cup with a 5-wicket victory. England also captured the T20 supremacy after an era at the hands of Stokes, the hero of the 2019 ODI World Cup final.

Pakistan repeated the 1992 World Cup final in this match. In 1992 final too, England won the toss and took the field. 30 years ago, England lost to Imran Khan's team in the ODI World Cup final on this ground. But this time history didn't speak for Pakistan. They had to leave the field with a loss. On the other hand, England became the first team in cricket history to simultaneously own the ODI and T20 World Cup trophies through this victory.

Sam Curren was Man of the Match for his excellent bowling. Not only that, but the award of the best of the tournament is also in the hands of this English all-rounder. The cricket world has been impressed by the performance of this very young player.

Especially in the World Cup final, Sam Curren crushed Pakistan's batting single-handedly. The left-hander bowled 4 overs and took 3 wickets with just 12 runs at a medium pace. After that, Pakistan couldn't turn around. Sam Curren has 13 wickets in 6 matches in the entire tournament.

BTW I want to congratulate the England men's cricket team for their victory. Congratulations England.
