Mohammad Rizwan : PCB's Most Valuable Cricketer of the year.

Did you know, who is Mohammad Rizwan ? If you are a true cricket fan then you should have know him. He is a Pakistani international cricketer. Mohammad Rizwan is one of the best performers in world right now. In last year, I mean in 2021, he made many records with bat and gloves. 2021 was a dream year in his cricketing career, where he scored 1326 runs in T-20's which is a joint record with Babar Azam.

Mohammad Rizwan was born in 1 june 1992 at Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. He is a right handed batter & wicket keeper player. From his childhood, he was interested to play cricket & he obtained lots of support from his father. Rizwan played outstandingly wel in domestic matches. Rizwan scored 224 runs 224 runs to help Sui Northern to win their second title in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 2014-15. In very short time, he impressed the selectors with his consistent performance.

In 2015, he called up for Pakistan national team & he made his One Day International (ODI) debut for Pakistan against Bangladesh in April 2015. In this match Rizwan scored 67 runs by playing only 58 balls. Following his consistent performance, Rizwan made his T-20 debut for Pakistan team in same series. But his Test debut wasn't good at all, he was out for a golden duck in his maiden test innings against New-Zealand on 25 November 2016.

Mohammad Rizwan was named the vice-captain of Punjab's squad for the 2018 Pakistan cup in 2018. After few days, he made his highest total in list A cricket, with 140 runs of 123 balls against Federal Areas.In 2018, Rizwan was awarded a central contract for the season 2018-19 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

As I say, 2021 was a dream year for him. In the very begging of this year, Rizwan announced as the captain of Multan Sultans ahead of PSL-6 & he won this title for Multan Sultans for the first time in their history. In PSL season six, he was Awarded as a wicket-keeper of the tournament. After few days, in April 2021 during the 3rd T20 against South-Africa, Babar Azam and Rizwan made 197 run partnership at the opening wicket which is the highest partnership recorded by a pair for pakistan for any wicket in T-20 cricket. Also this is the highest ever partnership for any wicket while chasing in T-20. In the T-20 world cup -2021, he played Outstandingly wel as a opener and they beat India for the first time at world cup-20. In December 2021, Mohammad Rizwan became the first batsman to score 2000 runs in T-20 cricket in a calender year and made a record.
