White cat and I: March 13 2023
What do you know? Fasting was great, but for a brief moment it lowers your immunity system, before doubling it strength once the fast is over.
I guess that brief moment was enough to catch a bug at work which sent me to bed over my long weekend.
Well, I’m happy to report that it was a short lived sickness. I was able to afford a chilled weekend at home, with hot water bottle on my chest (my friend’s newest life hack), plenty of hot milk with garlic and honey, abandoning my walking and social media routine and killing some zombies 🧟♀️ nicely wrapped up in my robe and blankets.
Not the highest of moods, but by Sunday the annoying sneezing was gone and I was happy to be able to breathe properly again.
Only to come back to a funeral mood at work and my young colleague sneezing 🤧 those germs back at me! 😂
Since next weekend is going to be packed full of dancing, I need to get my fitness back on track to be able to keep up 😉
