Catch up: October 16 2023

It’s been a while since I last posted my activity report here. Not that there isn’t anything to report, but I feel like a break from online activity was needed.

The new diet advised by my holistic doctor is doing wonders to my body in terms of allergic reactions that were taking over my life in not a good way. I also stopped taking antihistamines altogether and in the first 2 weeks since changing my habit I had not even one hive.

In week 3 I noticed a tiny swelling in one hand that disappeared after just a few hours rather than days. In week 4 I noticed couple of hives on my knees and elbows after contact with my yoga mat. These also disappeared the same day.

It seems that while my body is still occasionally reacting to some things, the reaction is nowhere near as overwhelming as it was before, which hopefully indicates that the inflammation in my stomach is going down too.

The other thing my holistic doctor advised was to stop taking my anti anxiety supplements. This in turn brought havoc back and I felt quite overwhelmed with increased anxiety again.

So while one thing seems to be under control again, the other needs more of my attention, hence why I decided to take some time off my online activities.

Instead I’ve been sleeping a lot and making sure I go out dancing to keep my mood up even if just for a few hours while on the dance floor. Last weekend my friends and I were in London again. Second party we attended was in China Town.

We were there since early afternoon, attending matinee though, so after first dose of a few hours of dancing we needed some refreshing and food.

I opted for a healthy food - mushroom soup:

My second choice was a forbidden drink… my once beloved coffee! I thought I can spoil myself with one cup once in a while, but despite the heart made on top of it, it didn’t taste quite as amazing as I remembered it and I did have one hive on Sunday, so maybe next time I’ll just stick to the tea. I already kinda got used to drinking green tea in the mornings and mint/camomile in the evenings.

As for yesterday… apart from my work breaks walks I went for a nice walk, although quick walk with my friend Ruth, which bumped up my steps nicely for the day and then I had another early night.

Will the lack of reports/writing and more sleeping become a new habit? I hope not. But for now, I need all the relaxation needed to restore my body to full strength again. Later we will see 😉

Good to know you are feeling a bit better, the advices and progress seem to be good. Sometimes we need to take time for ourselves and I hope you will feel better and better and read you more again 😊 💙

Hey sweetie! Yes, my health is improving, although there is still a long way to thriving. Taking a break felt well needed, but I feel the writing juices this weekend, so I’ll be posting couple articles soon’ish 😉

I think you should fight with your anxieties by doing exercises or some other things but believe me I'm feeling sad to know that you used anti stress supplements 😕 mashroom soup is really good choice but egg Benedict also a healthy diet too 😋 your coffee seems delicious, hope you had a beautiful walk with your friend Ruth 😊

Hey lovely 😘 Yes, the exercise helps, but only to some extend. Coupled with supplements I almost got myself back on track, but without them I’m struggling a bit and need to look for other ways to help myself. But such is life. Not always cookies and roses 🌹 😉

Its good to hear your getting better in some ways. We all wait for you to return. If rest and dancing is working stick with it. We will all wait for your return. No worries sometime we need to cut things out to regain ourselves. !HUG !LUV

You always get me Bob. Pushing myself to post, chase some goals and interact made my mind more scattered and more anxious. I clearly don’t do well under pressure and I need to stop and understand why my mind is not able to cope with the circumstances. It’s mainly because I suppressed so many hurtful feelings rather than giving them room to be and pass. I was doing too much to cover them and now they’re all bubbling and want to be seen and honoured, so I take some time to give them that space and in turn I started feeling a little less anxious. No doubt I’ll be back blabbing about it 😉

I completely understand you Monica. Feeling are difficult to deal with sometimes. I tell you that your not alone, I too struggle with them as well. Lately I have been tired and exhausted. I have been focusing on rest for a few weeks. I'm almost back to myself, thank goodness because it almost felt like there was no end in sight.

Your right there's another month, fortunately in life we can always start over. It's only HPUM not something we should feel down about if we don't accomplish. I'm dangling still, almost forgot a few times. I haven't had the opportunity very often to check on others to keep them in track. I really have tried to better myself through rest.

Take care friend 💙 Focus on yourself to be the great you..Health is wealth more importantly its aids in better mental wellness.
