August 7 2022. That Sunday feeling
No matter what, Sunday always feels like Sunday. Even when you're working, there is a Sundayness about your day. Don't ask me to explain it, it just is.
I walked the dogs before 7, served breakfast to the guests and my wife, then gave my cat his treatment. Here is a picture of us both. I am attempting the same grumpy expression as him.
After that, I walked the dogs again, went round to see my wife - she was working in the artisanal shop - did some odd jobs and then went back to bed for an hour.
I did a bit of felting in the afternoon, as well as looking after a grumpy cat and jealous dogs.
After the shop closed we went for a walk.
Went for another one around 9.30.

I think I know what you mean about Sunday. It always gets quiet here on Sunday all night and into the morning. This is late-day-getting-up time for most people, me included. I always wondered what those cone things were for that I sometimes see on cats and dogs, and assumed they were to prevent them from biting people whne out in public. We never had one for our dog at home as he'd likely lick you to death. Not exactly a guard dog! :)
He has an ear infection and has been scratching his face. The collar prevents him from scratching himself. They are also used to stop animals from licking wounds or pulling out stitches.
I walked past a golden retriever last night ... I looked back to see he was checking me out too.
You really need a cone to match kitty:)
