August 21 2022. Brocante, shop, family

Today was the annual brocante (like an antique / yard sale kind of thing) in our town

Normally it's held down by the river, but there's work going on down there, so this year it was held in the centre of town. The above picture was taken from outside our house.

I got up at the usual time, walked the dogs, sorted the guests for breakfast, cleaned the room when they left.

Sat outside and chatted with friends and family over a coffee.

Walked dogs.

Had lunch then went to the shop.

Lots of visitors, but not many sales.

Walked dogs again while my wife took over in the shop.

After we shut up shop we sat chatting outside before having dinner (inside, too cold to stay out).

Just walked the dogs. I'm knackered. Off to bed

Lots of visitors, but not many sales.

I hope next time there will be lots of visitors and more sales.
