Walked the dogs and prepared breakfast for our friends.

After they left we walked the dogs again and had lunch.

I had a meeting to discuss the setting up of a temporary Christmas shop in Guéret, the biggish main town of our department.

When I got back I had a sandwich and judged the zapfic.club contest and wrote a 5 minute Freewrite (see below)

Walked the dogs again. Now bed...

Today, I wrote for 5 mins using a generated prompt from The Most Dangerous Writing App

Proof (typing sped up X4) :

prompt: “When her father was drunk, he'd say 'I used to have a brother, you know', and get a faraway look in his eyes.

He wouldn't say anymore and when she asked him the next day he'd look at her blankly, and deny that he said anysuch thing.

"You make things up, Suz," he'd say. "You always have."

And for a while, Suzy believed him. Perhaps she had made it all up.

Or dreamed it.

Sometimes her dreams were so vivid she could touch them. Even when she was awake.

Her teacher once slammed a book down on the desk and she jumped a full foot into the air.

"What?" she'd asked blankly, to the bemused chuckles of her classmates.

"You were laughing," Mr Marks said, his face red and creased in anger. "What is so funny about my class?"

Suzy had shaken her head.

"Nothing sir," she said.

But for a moment she had been in a car with her mother, and her mother had said something so funny... but try as she might Suzy couldn't remember what it was.
