Walked the dogs before breakfast, before lunch, in late afternoon and night time.
Cleaned the apartment ready for a guest.
Made a couple of Christmas decorations
Today, I wrote for 5 mins using a random first line prompt generator and writing using The Most Dangerous Writing App
prompt: “The girl shouldn't have been sacked but if he said anything”
The girl shouldn't have been sacked but if he said anything the others would make his life a misery.
She picked up her box, full of the personal things she kept on her desk - a stuffed toy her boyfriend had given her, a picture of her grandmother, and a potted plant Anthia called "Jeff".
Her eyes met Mike's as she passed and guilt washed over him.
It wasn't his fault.
Was it?
It wasn't as if it was he who had told lies to the boss.
But you know the truth, her eyes seemed to be saying. You know the truth and you don't have the courage to stand up and tell it.
You are lying.
His eyes fell from hers and he stared at the computer keyboard in front of him.
As Anthia reached the door, her hand on the handle, a voice called out.
"And good riddance!"
It was Bill. Mike hated Bill.
Bill wasn't a good guy.
