Continúan los desafíos en las grandes ligas cuando ya nos acercamos al Memorial Day y los equipos han comenzado a perfilarse dentro de dos bloques: los competitivos y los que nada tienen por buscar ya en ésta temporada dadas sus debilidades. Dentro de esto, hemos querido resaltar las actuaciones de nuestro compatriotas venezolanos como ya es costumbre, pero aderezadas tales proezas en el contexto de sus aportaciones a los equipos donde se encuentran compitiendo. Ha empezado también los juegos interligas e intra ciudades, estos últimos tuvieron protagonismo el fin de semana pasado con las emociones desprendidas, aderezadas por las rivalidades propias implícitas en cada urbe, como por ejemplo la serie del subway enfrentando a Queens con el Bronx en la gran manzana ¿a cual neoyorquino no le gustaría saber la actualidad de los conjuntos, si estos llegan a la serie mundial? Pero no es de los resultados de esos enfrentamientos de los cuales haremos ésta crónica, eso formará parte de otra publicación.
