Milagro en el Brígido Iriarte || OPINION
Los Tiburones de La Guaira han perdido un juego por fallas de sus abridores en la Serie del Caribe. Pero nuestro interés estaba en lo que pasaría en Caracas, entre las selecciones de fútbol de Venezuela y Argentina. El cuadrangular final del Pre-Olímpico Sudamericano Sub-23 comenzó el día de ayer enfrentando a primera hora a las selecciones de Brasil y Paraguay. Aquel partido fue un trago muy amargo para la selección canarinha porque no pudo superar la férrea defensa del Paraguay, quienes hicieron honor a su camiseta al ganar por la mínima.
Ya es un lugar común decir que las distancias en el fútbol se han reducido y si todavía le quedaba alguna duda, imagine revisar la papeleta de apuestas del campeonato ¿Quién habría pensado en los resultados que se dieron ayer? Brasil ya no es Brasil y el campeón en ejercicio del planeta, pues, no la pasó nada bien tampoco. Y para ello solo habría que haber visto el juego desarrollado por la vinotinto en el engramado del Brígido Iriarte.

The Tiburones de La Guaira have lost one game for failures of their starters in the Caribbean Series. Insistir en atacar es algo en lo que ésta selección vinotinto parece pensar porque después de culminar varias jugadas de peligro, llegó el premio en forma de gol en los botines de David Marinez (cuando no) con un centro que el arquero no pudo dominar. Venezuela arriba por uno y Argentina tomo el testigo al hilvanar una serie de llegadas que fueron detenidas por la férrea defensa vinotinto y el estelar arquero que paró todas. Sin embargo, en el minuto 39, no pudo parar un centro desviado por un cabezazo de nuestro defensivo, para que se concretara el justo empate. Todo nuevo y a preparar la escena del dramático segundo período.

Y eso fue lo que se vió en la jugada que finalizó en gol por parte de la Argentina, quienes luego de una larga secuencia de pases le dieron el balón a Thiago Almada para que el arquero venezolano la mandara a guardar.
2-1 y el tiempo se ponía en contra de Venezuela, a tal punto que solo un milagro haría que empataren el partido y éste llegó en el minuto 90+9 en forma de un penal que todavía se anda discutiendo. Pelota a la red y las gradas del Brígido Iriarte no lo podían creer. Venezuela empataba con el campeón del mundo y decretaba vida en el cuadrangular. Con el resultado, Paraguay se lleva 3 puntos, Venezuela y Argentina 1 punto y Brasil está en blanco. La siguiente jornada será el Jueves, enfrentará a Paraguay con Argentina y a Venezuela con Brasil. Continúa el sueño de jugar los Olímpicos.

Saludos @fermionico muy buena descripción de los hechos, personalmente creo que nuestros muchachos a esa selección Argentina pudieron hacerle más goles, pero las presiones de jugar esta competición a esta instancia seguro jugaron en contra. Ya veremos si el milagro se extiende hasta el jueves, igual si no ocurre, estos muchachos ya nos dieron tremenda alegría.
Veremos que sucede ante Brasil...
Creo que pasar al cuadrangular final fue uno de los objetivos, pero creo van por más...

Esto es impresionante, vi el partido narrado por argentinos, y la verdad para ellos, según, el árbitro no tiene personalidad ni madera de ser juez, claro, ellos defienden sus colores pero, la cuestión está en que Venezuela le está saliendo todo bien, esperando que todo siga saliendo así.
El VAR funcionó como es debido...hubo un toque ilegal dentro del área y eso es penal por reglamento. Así de simple.
El que quiere decir otra cosa no está siendo objetivo.
