Tanto el jardinero criollo Jackson Chourio como el toletero Andrew Vaughn, fueron los factores claves de la victoria por tercer día consecutivo. Four of the six runs in that 6-2 final were knocked in by that duo. Andrew went yard with two ducks on the pond, and Jackson smoked an opposite-field double that banged off the wall on the fly to drive in another. With that win, the Brew Crew pulled into a dead heat with the Pirates for third place, sitting just a game and a half back of St. Louis. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are stalled out in second, trailing the Cubs—who grabbed another win yesterday—by three and a half games.

Aragua, el receptor Jesús Rodríguez, quien fuera llamado al equipo grande de los Gigantes de San Francisco. El chico estableció un registro de ligas menores, al botar de cuadrangular la pelota, durante 5 partidos consecutivos. Por ello, San Francisco no pudo retardar más su promoción. Y aunque en su primera aparición se fue de 3-0, antier demostró el porqué lo llamaron, al demoler una pelota y enviarla por la banda contraria del Oracle Park. Esto es algo que no se veía desde los tiempos de Barry Bonds ¿La razón? Los vientos que soplan desde la bahía impiden que las pelotas salgan del parque por ese lado del jardín. Y estamos hablando de que Barry Bonds era zurdo, por lo que halaba el lanzamiento hacia su mano natural. Jesús lo hizo bateando a la derecha y dejó a todos atónitos.
