Luego de las altas expectativas y las nubes negras que se cernían sobre el roster venezolano antes del anuncio de anoche, cuando la oficina del comisionado dio a conocer los listados oficiales de los equipos, es cierto respirar aliviados al repasar la plétora de estelares jugadores venezolanas que dieron el sí para usar el uniforme. Y ¿Por qué respirar aliviados? Bueno, digamos que las únicas bajas importantes fueron finalmente la de José Altuve y la del abridor Jesús Luzardo. Sin embargo, ayer se filtró a la prensa que éste último, podría estar disponible para la segunda ronda (inscrito como reserva), por lo que los anuncios estuvieron acompañados de esperanza ¿La razón? La probabilidad de que Venezuela avance como uno de los dos primeros lugares del grupo "D", son increíblemente altas ya que uno de los equipos más peligrosos del Caribe, salió sorteado en otro grupo (Puerto Rico).
