Afcon 2022 Match Update

The most celebrated competition on the soil of Africa is still very much alive and honestly it is getting so Interesting as the competition goes on.

It was the turn of group D last night ,where will have the likes of Super Eagles of Nigeria , Pharaoh of Egypt,Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.

The group so far as turn out as expected till now, only for the little shocked of the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeating the pharaoh of Egypt by a lone goal on match day One to stand top of the group after Sudan and Guinea-Bissau played out a goaless draw to split point , leaving Egypt with no point as at Match day One.

The second phase of group match kick off as lot of exciting results came out and one of it see the host country finding the net on four occasions against Ethiopia to kick off the second phase of the group matches.

It was the turn of the group D country,with the Super Eagles of Nigeria knowing fully well that a win will definitely ease them into the next round .

They definitely lift up to expectation they were able to put three goals past the Sudan boys to cement their place in the next round leaving the Sudan team a mountain to climb when they played their last group match against the pharaoh of Egypt.

On the other hand the pharaoh of Egypt managed to put on goal past the boys from Guinea-Bissau,A Mohammed Salah second half strike separate them from the boys from Guinea-Bissau.

The win now put the Egyptian one step away from qualifications out of the group stage with the mindset that a win in their last match against Sudan will definitely grant them a passage to the next round.

Guinea-Bissau on their side will need a miracle to go through ,with a very huge task on them to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria and a help from Sudan to beat the Pharaoh of Egypt before they can actually go through.

The Africa Cup of Nation matches still on today as matches from both group E and F makes up today's fixture in continuation of the competition.
