A sudden situation came on 20 date. A patient in our ward vomited. There was so much spill that the floor deteriorated completely. At first everyone felt that they will sweep, but immediately noticed that it is not a matter of general cleanliness. So we immediately activated Code Orange.

Code Orange means that when there is vomiting, blood or any such organic spill, it is necessary to clean according to the protocol. This is because they have the risk of spreading infection. If the proper disinfection is not done, then the patients, staff and visitors may be threatened.

Our team first covered Spill wearing masks and gloves. Then poured the disinfectant and gradually cleaned the entire area. This work was not easy, but everyone did together. Later, whatever waste came out, it was packed by packing according to the bio-waste.

At that time there was some trouble, the work was also long, but the relief was that the area was made completely safe. The patient also received care and the rest of the atmosphere was also kept clean.

This incident taught that in the hospital or any health setup, not just treatment, but cleanliness and protocols are equally important. The process like Code Orange reminds us that even small negligence can become a big problem. The biggest rescue is to take steps on time.
