My Actifit Report Card: February 20 2020
So on Thursday it was mostly good weather but a bit of rain in the evening, and I walked past the park and then to the library.
I was very busy during the day reading up about communities and testing a lot of how they work in practice.
While in the park I recorded a video that I published to 3speak, and I talked about communities and about me testing the features, 3speak Series #43 - #Communities - Steemit, Steempeak and CTPtalk.
I also made the manual curation for @thisisawesome, plus the Awesome Daily report, and Team Awesome made a great job moderating.

Flax,can I ask you a question? tried to do crossposting from steempeak this morning, it didn’t work for me, I got an error message instead. Didn’t get to see the exact message- was too fast.

Thanks @roger5120, so to cross post you login to Steempeak and click on the 3 dots at the bottom of the post next to upvotes and all that, and then you click on Cross Post, that will get you the cross posting option, and you select the community that you want to post to from the dropdown menu listing the ones that you follow, and you also add a small description, then you Confirm and it will post, now I am not sure how many times you can cross post or if it's limited to one cross posting per post, but this is how you do it.
By the way to get the post to your own profile blog you need to resteem it.
Thanks @flaxz, I did all that steps, except I didn’t get a listing to choose from from my subscribed list what I got instead was an underlined space for me to type in, I presume. So, I went ahead after filling it out and clicked confirm. And I got the error message. I’ll try again later, see what will happen. Thank you.

Thanks Eric, yeah there is a lot to read up on with communities, but the most basic thing is that if you publish a post to a community then it's shown only in that community and if you want it to show up on your profile blog and to the wider Steem blockchain then you need to resteem it, then Steempeak also has a feature that allows you to cross post to another community, but it's not very elegant since it creates a new post and that does not show up in any tribes, just a few pointers, stay awesome.
