Culture is what identifies us, what makes us unique, and what we are proud of.

I am very excited to show you something that is ONLY PLAYED IN MY STATE, which is “THROWING THE COCONUT”. What is that? There were five people from other states, and we all gave different theories: we hit the coconut on the floor, we broke it, we peeled it with our teeth, but all of them were completely wrong.

They never imagined that the game consists of two players hitting each other on the head with coconuts until one of them breaks their opponent's coconut.

Don't think it's very easy, because it takes technique and practice.

The important thing is that from a young age, they are taught to “throw the coconut,” and whoever wins, apart from being recognized as the best in the game, takes the coconuts they have won home with them, water and all.

That night, they made two teams: men and women. The girl who won is Italian. Imagine arriving in that first world and being asked, “What was the most interesting thing?” Throw the coconut! And I won it 😆.

La cultura es aquello que nos identifica, que nos hace únicos y de lo cual nos sentimos orgullosos.

Me da mucha emoción mostrarles algo que SOLO SE JUEGA EN MI ESTADO que es "ECHAR EL COCO" ¿Qué es eso? Estaban 5 personas de otros estados y todos dimos teorías diferentes: pegamos el coco al piso, lo partimos, lo pelamos con los dientes, pero todas totalmente erradas 😆.

¡Jamás! imaginaron que el juego consiste en que tomas un coco y entre dos jugadores "se dan en el coco" hasta que uno de ellos se lo rompa al contrincante.

No se crean que es muy fácil, porque lleva su técnica y práctica.

Lo importante, es que desde chicos les enseñan a "echar el coco" y quién lo gana, aparte del reconocimiento del mejor en el juego, se lleva los cocos ganados a su casa con agua y todo.

Me encanta la cultura y tradiciones de mi pueblo y espero que si se interesan por echar el coco, me lo dejan en los comentarios 😎.

Esa noche, hicieron dos equipos: hombres y mujeres. La chica que ganó es italiana. Imaginen llegar a ese primer mundo y te pregunten ¿qué fue lo más interesante? ¡ECHAR EL COCO! Y me lo gané 😆.
