This summer, the European Football Championship was held, where there were untraditionally 11 different host nations. However, not everything went as planned. For the final between England and Italy, there were fans who forced their way into Wembley Stadium, even though they did not have a ticket. Now UEFA has punished the English Football Association (FA) which has looked at their fans' behavior, as well as the ineffective 'security operation' for the final in July. The behavior meant that the ticketless fans created chaos, including fights with the inspectors and the English police.

Sky Sports learns that UEFA's body, Control, Ethics and Discipline, has punished the FA with two matches without spectators at Wembley under the auspices of UEFA.
