Matty Cash impressed a lot in his first Premier League season last year for Aston Villa, but there is a long way to go for the English national team if you play right back. The English national coach, Gareth Southgate, already has players like Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, Reece James from Chelsea, Kieran Trippier from Atlético Madrid, Kyle Walker from Manchester City and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old full-back has a Polish mother and that gives him the opportunity to line up for the Polish national team. He now intends to make use of this, as he has applied for Polish citizenship.
