Neuer reaches new milestone

Bayern Munich and milestones usually go hand in hand. The German Bundesliga has seen Robert Lewandowski score five goals in nine minutes, and last season the Pole was seen on the last day of play beat Gerd Müller's iconic goal record, which was 40 goals.

However, after Bayern Munich on Saturday defeated Hoffenheim 4-0 at the Allianz Arena, Bayern captain Manuel Neuer was able to reach another milestone in the Bundesliga. The German captain won his 300-Bundesliga victory in his 447-league match. The former World Cup winner is now only 11 victories away from beating Bayern Munich legend Oliver Kahn, who even tops the list with 310 victories.

The 35-year-old German and 'Der Deutsche Rekordmeister' can get even closer to breaking the record, as they go to the German capital on Saturday and meet Union Berlin.
