It finally worked on the fifth try... my training diary entry from December 10 2025

(During our short hike on Saturday, we passed some of these tripods with attached bird fedding spots.)
Hi Actifitters,
so happy that I can say I reached my previous push-up goal with the fifth try. It was slowly becoming really depressing, but thankfully it's over now. Here are my stats in tables.

As you can see the training plan is changing a bit. Where I made five sets before have to be done eight now. Curious to see how things will work out.
In terms of close grip push-ups things got stuck now. Would have been to cool if I would have been able to make progress in both kinds of push-ups. But anyway, I'm still very satisfied and will continue. Here are my close grip stats.

Today pull-ups and cycling are on my training plan. On top I will do crunches, curls and rows with dumbbells. In the evening I am meeting with colleagues at the winter market to have some food and one or two mulled wine. Hopefully I can quit before it gets too much alcohol. ;-)
