Recovery day with 14 km of walking and a short low intense cycling session... my training diary entry from January 28 2026

(Yesterday I had to go to Freising, a small town north of Munich, for two appointments. Pictured here is the main building of the local brewery – Hofbräuhaus Freising.)

Hi Actifitters,

due to two appointments and the overexertion on my indoor bike two days ago, yesterday was all about recovery. Of course, I still had to get my required walking in, so I decided to do as much as possible on foot.

On top I made a super low intense 30 minute cycling session in heart rate Zone 1.


Today is the next sprint session on the agenda if Garmin doesn't change the plans last minute.
