Another endurance session in the saddle... my training diary entry from April 26 2026

Hi Actifitters,
yesterday, another base training session was on the agenda. This time I rode for 90 minutes at an average of 156 watts. It's amazing how much easier the session felt compared to the session the day before.
Here are some numbers:
Duration - 1:30:18
Distance - 48.20 km
Elevetaion gain - 73 m
Average speed - 32.0 km/h
Maximum speed - 40.9 km/h
Average power output - 156 watts
Maximum power output - 267 watts
Average heart rate - 127 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 148 bpm
Average cadence - 75
Maximum cadence - 91
Since I had a rather spontaneous visit yesterday, it got quite late. Moreover, the visitor had to leave again at 4:30 in the morning. So I only got about three hours of sleep.
Because of this fact, coupled with the two extensive endurance sessions in the days before, I decided with a clear conscience not to do any sport today. 15,000 steps are still mandatory, of course.

Wow 4.30am, that would be deadly for me. Even on good parties I rarely stay after 2am. And that's like once a quarter, or less. Impressive that you did get the 50k despite the tiredness.
