42 kilometers of cycling, packing suitcases and HPUD... my training diary entry from April 30 2026

Hi Actifitters,
yesterday was quite stressful. Besides working from home, I also had to pack everything for our stay in Bechtesgaden and really wanted to squeeze in some exercise as well.
I didn't have a single second of peace until departure, but I was able to pedal another 42 kilometers including some elevation gain.
Today I've planned a short hike. However, my friends from Berchtesgaden want to go to a traditional festival (the raising of the maypole) first. We'll see what it's like there. If it's fun, I might skip the hike; otherwise, I'll leave the group and stick to my original plan.
Of course, I haven't forgotten Hive Power-Up Day either. This time I powered up 590 Hive.

That was a big thing in my home village, too. There were a lot of games for adults and children, BBQ (I always had a Nackensteak back then) and of course plenty of drinks for the adults. The festival of the year for us.
