Hello friends of Hive Gaming, you consume sports video games, because I practically do not do it, or at least not regularly. Sports video games are one of the most consumed in the entire industry, FIFA in every year is usually one of the best selling games but more than that, any successful video game you can imagine is overshadowed in sales by these soccer games, or at least the vast majority, is a success that have not know how long ago, but it would probably be for those times of the PS2, where they began to take more seriously these games simulators, and wow if they did well in the matter.
Hola amigos de Hive Gaming, ustedes consumen videojuegos de deportes?, porque yo prácticamente ni lo hago, o por lo menos no con regularidad. Los videojuegos de deportes son al año, uno de los más consumidos en toda la industria, FIFA en todos los años suele ser de los juegos más vendidos pero sobradamente, cualquier videojuego de éxito que se imaginen es opacado en ventas por estos juegos de fútbol, o por lo menos la gran mayoría, es un éxito que tienen no sabría decir desde cuándo, pero probablemente sería por aquellos tiempos de la PS2, donde se comenzaron a tomar más enserio estos juegos de simuladores, y vaya que si les fue bien en el asunto.
The first time I played a game about a sport was in the NES, I'm still very young, but the first thing I consumed in video games were NES games, like Mario, Megaman, Contra, Duckhunt, games like that you know, and there were a few sports games, and obviously there had to be soccer, because it has always been a sport of money, this sport moves a lot of money especially in television, but back to what is the game, right now I don't even remember which one it was, but it was in that console where I played for the first time a sports game, I remember that the game was a bit slow and it didn't simulate soccer so well, but we are talking about a game that was probably released more than 3 decades ago, it's quite old, and the technology wasn't enough at that time to make something more realistic I guess, that's why I think these games took that popularity like in the PS2 generation.
La primera vez que jugué un juego sobre algún deporte fue en la NES, yo soy alguien muy joven todavía, pero lo primero que consumí en videojuegos fueron juegos de la NES, tipo Mario, Megaman, Contra, Duckhunt, juegos así saben, y pues ahí habían unos cuantos juegos deportivos, y obvio que tenía que haber de fútbol, porque siempre ha sido un deporte de dinero, mueve mucho dinero este deporte en especial, sobre todo a nivel televisivo, pero ya volviendo a lo que es el juego, ahora mismo no me recuerdo ni cual era, pero sí fue en esa consola donde jugué por primera vez un juego de deportes, me acuerdo que si era algo lento el juego y no simulaba tan bien lo que es el fútbol, pero estamos hablando de un juego que probablemente fue lanzado como hace más de 3 décadas, es bastante viejo, y pues la tecnología no daba en aquel entonces para hacer algo más realista supongo, por eso es que creo que estos juegos tomaron esa popularidad como en la generación de PS2.

The problem, as far as I'm concerned, with sports games is the continuity they have, they are games that evolve very little between each generation, and it really makes sense, in the end it's the same sport and they can't afford to change so many things, besides that it must be a huge burden for developers, remember that these games come out every year, there will always be a FIFA every year, an NBA, a WWE, that kind of games you know, and it is quite normal that in just one year you are not going to completely change what is already the game itself. The quality of these games like FIFA, NBA, WWE for me is very good, I do not say they are the GOTY, but they are very fun games and I personally love to play with friends or family. To play myself I prefer another type of experience, I think that to play alone these games are a bit boring, I would almost say that they could serve you for insomnia, if you have problems with that, recommended, nah lie, but the thing is that for me they are games more to play in company, and not so much as an individual experience.
El problema, en lo que a mí respecta, de los juegos de deportes es la continuidad tan arraigada que tienen, son juegos que evolucionan muy poco entre cada generación, y de verdad tiene sentido, al final es el mismo deporte y no pueden darse al lujo de cambiar tantas cosas, aparte de que debe de ser una carga enorme para los desarrolladores, recordemos que estos juegos salen cada año, siempre va a haber un FIFA todos los años, un NBA, un WWE, ese tipo de juegos saben, y pues es bastante normal que en solo un año no vayas a cambiar por completo lo que ya es el juego de por sí. La calidad de estos juegos como FIFA, NBA, WWE para mí es muy buena, yo no digo que sean el GOTY, pero son juegos muy divertidos y que personalmente me encantan para jugar con amigos o familiares. Para jugar yo mismo prefiero otro tipo de experiencias, creo que para jugar solo estos juegos son algo aburridos, casi te diría que podrían servirte para el insomnio, si tienes problemas con eso, recomendado, nah mentira, pero el caso es que para mí son juegos más para jugar en compañía, y no tanto como una experiencia individual.

Another thing is also that the competitiveness of these games are mostly in statistics, if your team has better statistics you will notice it immediately, your team moves better, the characters, everything, and it is even realistic, in real life there is a huge difference between teams from different leagues, so as a simulator, FIFA complies but more than enough, you would think it is unbalanced because you can not play taking Venezuela and play against Barcelona, but it is logical in reality, it is difficult both in the game and in real life, because I do not know if it is impossible.
Otra cosa también es que la competitividad de estos juegos son más que todo en estadísticas, si tu equipo tiene mejores estadísticas lo notarás de inmediato, tu equipo se mueve mejor, los personajes, todo, y es hasta realista, en la vida real hay una grandísima diferencia entre los equipos de diferentes ligas, así que como simulador, FIFA cumple pero sobradamente, uno pensaría que está desequilibrado porque no puedes jugar tomando a Venezuela y jugar contra Barcelona, pero es lógico en realidad, está difícil tanto en el juego como en la vida real, porque no sé decir si es imposible.

My conclusion would be that, I know that there are people in the world of video games who do not like this type of games, and I understand it because it is very different from a multiplayer game or a single player experience, they are simulators, it is another type of experience, and therefore for another type of audience, and look that I am not the biggest fan of any of these games, but I think they are necessary, while entertaining if what you want is to have a good time in company.
Mi conclusión sería esa, yo sé que hay personas en el mundo de los videojuegos que no les gusta nada este tipo de juegos, y lo entiendo porque es muy diferente de un juego multijugador o una experiencia para un solo jugador, son simuladores, es otro tipo de experiencia, y por lo tanto para otro tipo de público, y miren que yo no soy el más fan de ninguno de estos juegos, pero creo que son necesarios, a la vez que entretenidos si lo que quieres es pasártela bien en compañía.
