Tal fue el caso de Jimmie Johnson quien en esta pista consagró sus 7 campeonatos, pero el que más destacó fue del año 2010 donde en esta última competición venía liderando el campeonato Denny Hamlin pero tuvo un problema al irse al pasto en la recta posterior si mal no recuerdo, lo que causo un daño en la parte del labio inferior de su auto, lo que se conocer en inglés como splitter, en la cual el daño le bajo el rendimiento, logrando así su campeonato número 5 y de manera consecutiva de sus 7, algo que no ha logrado otro piloto. También se dieron buenos carreras donde lograron sus primeros campeonatos pilotos como Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, entre otros muchos más.

La razón de esto puede ser por el alto consumo de electricidad de deben tener los óvalos cuando las carreras son de noche, porque los reflectores de luz consumen mucho para iluminar todo las instalaciones.

Otro detalle importante es que este óvalo de Homested-Miami también tiene unas curvas internas que son usados para varios competencias de otras categorías, pero al menos en NASCAR que recuerde aún no lo han hecho. Otros de mis favoritos es Denny Hamlin quien se encuentran en la 4 posición del campeonato, dato que ya les había mencionado también, además que en las últimas 6 ediciones en este óvalo ha quedado en el top 5. El líder el victorias de los pilotos activos es Kyle Busch con 2, por lo cual es otro de los pilotos que es uno de mi favoritos. Busch también lo es porque no tiene ningún tipo de presión y sabemos la clase de pilotos que es, sino veamos lo que paso en la carrera pasado donde tuvo un incidente al perder su auto en el primer segmento, pero por suerte puedo retomar las posiciones y culminar en el tercer lugar.
