Esta semana no hay actividades tanto de la NASCAR Cup Series, como la Xfinity Series, razón por la cual decidí traerles la previa de la carrera de la tercera división de NASCAR, la Camping World Truck Series (Las Camionetas), que se disputará en la pista de Knoxville Raceway, el próximo sábado 18 de Junio del presenta año a las 9pm tiempo del este de los Estados Unidos. La tercera división de NASCAR es una serie donde participan más que todos pilotos muy jóvenes, que tiene el sueño de algún día participar en la primera división (CUP Series), pero sin embargo también encontramos a experimentados pilotos que tienen tiempo en la categoría, lo que es realmente bueno ya que así los pilotos con menos experiencias, pueden aprender de ellos, de allí lo interesante de esta serie. Faltan muy pocas carreras para finalizar el campeonato regular, por lo cual los pilotos van a dar el todo por esta carrera, la Clean Harbors 150. ¿Quienes serán los clasificados para los playoffs de la NASCAR Camping World Truck Series? Pues esto lo sabremos en muy pocas semanas.

Knoxville Raceway is a 0.5-mile (0.8 kilometers) dirt oval, where the track has a 7-degree banking. Esta pista tal vez se ven que son sencillas, pero la verdad es que no lo es así. Siempre suelen ser un desafío para los pilotos, tal vez no tengan una degradación de los neumáticos como en una superficie de asfalto o concreto, pero aun así los equipos y pilotos deben estar muy atentos a cada detalle que se pueda dar, ya que cualquier error o daño, puede hacer que el piloto pierda la opción de alzarse con la victoria. Esta es una pista que da unas carreras muy interesante y vistosas para el público, donde las camionetas constantemente están de lado, los pilotos exigen al auto en cada vuelta, se tocan entre los pilotos para realizar los adelantamientos, claro que no en todas las ocasiones, pero si suele pasar esto, lo que a veces trae muchas polémicas entre los pilotos al finalizar la carrera. En fin, esta es una excelente pista, que nos traen mucho entretenimiento, con grandes batallas en la pista y lo mejor es que les brinda a oportunidad a equipos y pilotos, que tal vez en condiciones normales no la tienen.

Anyway, this is an excellent track, which brings us a lot of entertainment, with great battles on the track and the best thing is that it gives an opportunity to teams and drivers, which perhaps in normal conditions they do not have.

Las actividades en pista darán comienzo el día viernes, con dos prácticas libres, la 1 que dará comienzo a las 7:05pm ET, además de una práctica final que comienza a las 9:02pm ET y que la dará la oportunidad a los equipos, y equipos de últimas detalles en el auto para la clasificación y carrera, que se disputarán al siguiente día; es decir, el día sábado como está pautado. La verdad es que desconozco si hay otro formato especial para la carrera, pero lo que tengo entendido es que es como evento tradicional, pero cualquier cosa que cambie se los haré rápidamente.

Track activities will start on Friday, with two free practices, the first one starting at 7:05pm ET, plus a final practice starting at 9:02pm ET, which will give teams the opportunity to finalize the car for the qualifying and race, which will be held the following day, that is, on Saturday as scheduled.
