DuraMAX Drydene 400 es la fecha 11 de campeonato 2022 de la NASCAR Cup Series que se disputará en el óvalo de Dover Motor Speedway. La pista de Dover o como tan es conocida como la "Milla Monstruosa" es un óvalo Estadounidense en la cual se disputan competiciones desde el año 1969, donde en sus inicio esta fue de asfalto pero desde el año 1995 paso a ser de concreto, por lo menos en carril de carrera, ya que algunas parte plana de este aún es de asfalto. En esta pista se llevan a cabo diferentes carreras, pero las más importante son las participaciones de las tres divisiones nacionales de NASCAR. Es una pista de 1 milla, la segunda del calendario, que tiene 4 curvas, donde ellas tienen un grado de peralte de 24, mientras que las rectas tienen 9°. Esta es una localidad con mucha historia dentro de la serie, donde hemos tenido magnificas carreras en toda su historia, siendo el mayor ganador el piloto Jimmie Jonhson, quien ya no está en la categoría. Para el día domingo 1 de Mayo se espera un lleno total, donde tenemos una capacidad por día de 75.000 personas.

DuraMAX Drydene 400 is the 11th date of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series championship to be held at the Dover Motor Speedway oval. The Dover track or as it is known as the "Monster Mile" is an American oval in which competitions are held since 1969, where in its beginning this was asphalt but since 1995 became concrete, at least in the race lane, as some flat part of it is still asphalt. In this track different races are held, but the most important are the participations of the three national NASCAR divisions. It is a 1 mile track, the second of the calendar, which has 4 curves, where they have a camber degree of 24, while the straights have 9°. This is a place with a lot of history within the series, where we have had magnificent races throughout its history, being the biggest winner the driver Jimmie Johnson, who is no longer in the category. A full house is expected for Sunday, May 1st, where we have a capacity of 75,000 people per day.

Luego de un gran fin de semana pasado, donde el piloto Ross Chastain se impuso en Talladega, pues los fanáticos tenemos gran expectativa en lo que será esta carrera, siendo la primera de estas características, al ser de una milla y con mucho peralta. La curva 1 los pilotos la podrían tomar tan solo soltando el acelerador y frenando un poco, mientras que al momento de entrar a la dos aceleramos nuevamente, con mucho cuidado para no irnos al muro, a fondo en la recta posterior hasta frenar para tomar la curva tres, mientras que la 4 es muy complicada porque los autos suelen irse de frente y hasta llegar a rozar el muro, causando daños lo que frustraría las aspiraciones de los pilotos y las organizaciones (equipos). Todo este análisis va a depender de la puesta a punto de los autos y de las datos previas que tengan los equipos, más tomando en cuanta que aún los conductores y equipos están entendiendo el auto para hacer un coche bastante balanceado que de un excelente rendimiento dentro de la pista.

El ganador de la temporada fue Alex Bowman del auto 48 de Hendrick Motorsports, mientras que la pole estuvo en manos del piloto Martin Truex Jr del equipo Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). La carrera es a 400 giros lo que es igual a las 400 millas como esta nombrado el evento, donde está divida en tres etapas, siendo la primera y la segunda a 120 vueltas, mientras que la final es a 160. El cronograma de actividades en pista para esta serie da comienzo el día sábado con la práctica libre, mientras que la clasificación se disputará el mismo día, con el día domingo el evento final (carrera) a las 3 de la tarde tiempo del este de los Estados Unidos. No estoy informado pero se espera que antes de finalizar el segmento se espera una bandera amarilla de competición como es habitual desde año pasado, para que los equipos analicen el comportamiento del auto y hagan los ajustes necesarios para que estén tengan un mejor comportamiento y por lo visto en lo que va de temporada esto se ha logrado, ya que las competiciones vemos como son bastante fluidas y con menos banderas de precaución donde sale el coche de seguridad.

Es importante mencionar que para esta carrera están inscrito un total de 36 pilotos, donde para clasificación se dividirán en dos grupos, donde el formato es a el mejor tiempo a una sola vuelta, algo que cambio para este año y debido al covid-19 para ahorrar tiempo y que los pilotos estén lo menos posible en la pista. Para la ronda final de la clasificación estarán clasificado los 5 pilotos de cada grupo que con una sola vuelta estará en juego las posiciones en la cual van a partir para el día domingo. Un fin de semana que estará llena de muchas emociones y más cuando contamos con una pista que es muy complicado, con una superficie que se puede considerar que es medianamente degradante.

Los pilotos que a mi criterio son favoritos para llevarse la victoria este fin de semana de los 36 pilotos son los del equipo Hendrick Motorsports quienes siempre tienen buenos resultados en esta pista, en especial Alex Bowman y Chase Elliott, sin dejar a un lado a Kyle Larson quien es el actual campeón de la categoría aunque en lo que va de la temporada no se ve tan dominante como la pasado. En este campeonato vemos como muchos pilotos e incluso los más jóvenes de la serie están realizando un excelente trabajo, tanto así que en varios casos se están llevando la victoria. El piloto mexicano Daniel Suarez está corriendo de una manera tan impresionante que siempre se encuentran en los primeros planos, sin contar con un equipo de punta o de alto presupuesta como en otros años, pero nos demuestra lo gran piloto que es, lo cual nos pueden dar la sorpresa y alegría de quedarse con el gane.

The drivers who in my opinion are the favorites to win this weekend out of the 36 drivers are the Hendrick Motorsports team who always have good results in this track, especially Alex Bowman and Chase Elliott, without leaving aside Kyle Larson who is the current champion of the category although so far this season is not as dominant as last season. In this championship we see how many drivers and even the youngest of the series are doing an excellent job, so much so that in several cases they are taking the victory. The Mexican driver Daniel Suarez is running in such an impressive way that they are always in the first planes, without having a top team or high budget as in other years, but shows us what a great driver he is, which can give us the surprise and joy of staying with the win.

En conclusión les puedo decir que nos espera un gran fin de semana, con una carrera que de seguro será muy emocionante, con grandes batallas y buenas luchas en todas las posiciones, pero la mejo será la batalla por la victoria. Dover es una de las pista más populares que podemos encontrar en NASCAR, por lo cual muchos de la fanáticos esperan el fin de semana en esta pista, con una superficie de concreto, donde si los pilotos no saben cuidar sus neumáticos pueden irse contra en el puto en as curvas 2 y 4, saliendo de cada una de ellas, por lo cual los pilotos deben tener mucho cuidado, si no quieren verse envuelta en un incidente que le impida luchar por le gane.

Dover is one of the most popular tracks that we can find in NASCAR, so many of the fans expect the weekend on this track, with a concrete surface, where if the drivers do not know how to take care of their tires they can go against in the pit in turns 2 and 4, leaving each of them, so the drivers must be very careful, if they do not want to be involved in an incident that will prevent them from fighting for the win.
