Realmente exprimieron el rendimiento para la clasificación, aunque quedó segundo (Max Verstappen), se sabía que en ritmo de carrera, este era muy superior a sus rivales. El ganador de la pole fue el británico Lewis Hamilton, mientras que el segundo fue Verstappen y el tercer lugar para Lando Norris. Está en la clasificación, donde la diferencia entre estos fue de menos de una décima. Entre el primero y segundo lugar fueron tres milésimas de segundo. Mercedes también ha mejorado, sobre todo el más destacado fue Hamilton por su pole, pero con esa salida, ya perdió cualquier tipo de aspiraciones en esta carrera. Lo mismo fue su compañero de equipo, George Russell quien quedo muy retrasado en la clasificación, pero logró avanzar hasta el sexto lugar. Una gran carrera de parte de Russell.

Ahora bien, lo mismo no se puede decir de Aston Martin (AM) quien ha tenido un retroceso y el español Fernando Alonso, quien es la referencia de esta escudería, más allá de estar cerca de lograr su victoria 33, ahora está peleando por las posiciones intermedias, algo que no me esperaba. Esto se le atribuye a los neumáticos, según declaraciones hechas por el español donde mencionaba que luego que Pirelli cambiaran los compuestos, viniera una desmejora de RedBull, pero sobre todo de AM. Esto es lo más destacado que podemos mencionar. El tercer segmento y el final fue donde la estrategia estuvo a la orden del día, tanto así que el giro 124, Denny Hamlin tan solo cambio dos neumáticos, lo cual lo posicionó mejor en la carrera. A falta de 11 vueltas para el final, Alex Bowman hace un trompo, por lo cual sale una nueva bandera amarilla, pero esto ocurrió con una maniobra polémica y agresiva por parte de Hamlin con Larson, por lo cual este último le mostró su descontento.
