El Campeonato Mundial de Rallies (WRC) en su temporada 2023 esta devuelta con su segunda fecha de este año, siendo este el Rally de Suecia, uno de la competencia más importante, porque es la única carrera donde todo su recorrido es sobre la nieve. Este último detalle es importante, ya que cualquier error cometido por los pilotos, les puede ocasionar el abandono de la carrera, pero lo mínimo es la pérdida de un gran tiempo que los deje fuera de la lucha por el triunfo, sabiendo que el objetivo de cada uno es de obtener el gane. Una de las grandes ausencia es del francés Sébastien Ogier, quien sabemos que es el 8 veces campeón de la categoría y quien en el primer rally de la temporada logro obtener una victoria prácticamente sin ningún rival, pero para esta carrera no estará presente, ya que se sabe que desde el año pasado está teniendo un campeonato parcial, donde tan solo está disputando algunas fechas. El principal candidato es Kalle Rovanperä quien además de ser el más reciente campeón, también es el ganador del año pasado, en una lucha bastante cerrada con su compañero de equipo Elfyn Evans, pero debido a un problema este quedo fuera de la lucha final, pero Elfyn es otro de los favoritos al quedarse con el gane de este mismo rally en 2022. Algo que si está seguro es la lucha cerrada en esta carrera, ya que las diferencia suelen quedar por apenas segundo, es uno de los rally más rápido de la temporada por lo cual los tiempos siempre están bastante ajustados, así que es cuando mencionó que cualquier fallo es perjudicar para las aspiraciones de cada uno de los contendientes.

Por otro lado también tendremos la primera etapa, la SS1 con un recorrido de tan solo 5.38 km, siendo el más corto de todo este rally, considera un sprint 1. El segundo día de actividad se espera que sea el día viernes 10 de Febrero con un total de 7 etapas, para un total de casi 107 km de recorrido en total, donde las etapas más largas son la SS4 (Botsmark 1) y la SS7 (Botsmark 2), cada una de ellas a 25.76 km de recorrido. Por otro lado la más corta es la última etapa del día de 5.38 km, considerada la segunda etapa sprint (Umeå Sprint 2).

Este Rally de Suecia 2023 es uno del más esperado del año, al menos lo pienso así en lo personal, de acuerdo a todo este tiempo que tengo siguiendo este rally. Los pilotos deben estar atentos a cada detalle que se vaya dando a lo largo del recorrido, donde pienso que esta carrera se va a definir en los días viernes y sábado, aunque sabemos que cada día es importante y cuenta para el tiempo de la general, así que la concentración debe ser al máximo desde el día 1. El escenario es fantástico, uno de los más hermosos ya que siempre cautiva mi atención, incluso cuando salía jugar un videojuego de Rally, esta era mi competición favorita, la nieve me encanta y al ser la única donde todo su recorrido es con esta condición o gran parte de él, lo que hace más atractivo, tanto para la competencia, como para los espectadores. Las carreras se definen por pequeños detalles, cada milésima de segundos son importantes. Estaré muy atento a cada detalle de esta carrera, para luego comentarles.
