I Am Alive Challenge: March 24 2023
Went for an interview today. It was for a job for customer service support. The salary wasn't that encouraging but the company is the biggest telecommunications company in Ghana and one of the biggest across Africa. There are lots of opportunities to develop and that interests me a lot. Met this 3 guys and they were all in spectacles. When I was younger, it was often rich people who wore glasses. Maybe it was because they could afford it but mostly, it was believed that lifestyle was the biggest cause of eye problems. Today, glasses are so common that toddlers even wear them. My grand parents had 10 children and 30 grandchildren with some great grand children, only one person wore glasses before the age of 40. About 5 family members wear glasses and they are all people who work in the offices. They often read a lot and also use computers and other screens a lot. I'm hoping I don't wear glasses even when I'm 90.
