My Actifit Report Card: March 28 2022

This is my Actifit activity report, and my diabetes and cardiac logs, for Mon, 28-Mar-2022.

EXERCISE:

I didn't use the Cubii under-desk elliptical machine at all today, as it was my wife's birthday, so we went out to Henderson Park and had a picnic lunch there, under a tree. I did more exercise than I do most days, with the preparations for the picnic, including going to the shops to buy my wife a birthday present, and some other errands first. Then there was the organising of the picnic site itself, getting everything from the car to the picnic site, and packing it all up again afterwards. We set up the tripod and my smartphone for livestreaming the picnic in the park to the Hive Diabetes Peer Support (HDPS) server. The setting up and packing away of the livestream equipment added to my exercise, as well. By the time we got back home, I was absolutely beat!

FLUID INTAKE:

Today I consumed 3L of water. I consumed 1L in the morning, before we went out. We took the big 15L spring water bottle with us, out to the park. I refilled my 1L drinking bottle twice while we were at the park.

BGL:

I checked my blood glucose level once during the day, with an average BGL of 13.00mmol/L. The BGL test results this morning were still very high. I may need to talk to my GP about possibly increasing my insulin dose again, until I can get those numbers back under control. I have only recently started checking my levels again, and it takes a bit of tweaking and balancing between the medication, the exercise, and the diet, before the numbers will reach a good level. I used a total of 2 test strips and 1 lancets during the day.

GENERAL HEALTH, SLEEP, AND MOOD:

I checked my resting blood pressure today, and the result was 132/85mmHg. My resting pulse rate was 81bpm. My weight was 136.8kgs. My height is 178cm. My Body Mass Index (BMI) is therefore 43.18kg/cm. Went to bed last night at about 23:00hrs, and woke up this morning at about 06:15hrs, so I had about 7 hours of sleep, which is not bad for me! After the big day I had today, I was totally buggered by the time we got home, and went to bed about 18:30hrs. I slept until 00:15hrs the next day, which means that I slept for 5¾ hours, after the picnic in the park. It was a lovely day out in the park with my wife, celebrating her birthday. There were a few stressful times before we got to the park, during all of the preparations, but that is to be expected. But once we got there, and everything was organised, it was quite serene and blisfull. I was feeling as relaxed as I have ever been.

INSULIN:

I injected 8 units of insulin glargine (rbe) using a 3mL Lantus SoloStar pen, with a BD Micro-Fine™ Plus, 0.233mm (32G) × 4mm pen needle, all as per my prescription.

TABLETS:

I took my prescribed 1000mg Metformin HCl tablets with breakfast today. I took my prescribed 1000mg Metformin HCl tablets with dinner today.

Thanks Pravesh. I still have a lot of work to do on setting up my actifit_18px.png Actifit report card the way that I want it. I need to make my divider images yet, and I still have some bodytext fields to add. I also want to standardise on using HTML rather than markdown in them. These reports are generated for me from my spreadsheet, which has columns for adding free text to the numeric data. It is a real fine line between automated and original text. I'm trying to present the facts in a consistent way, and yet at the same time avoid the ire of the hivewatchers_18px.png Hivewatchers.
