Greetings friends. As you well know, I'm a fan of Pokémon Quest, a very good Pokémon game for Android. It is an excellent game which I have talked about in several posts in the community. In fact, in my last post on the game I told you about Zapdos, the Legendary Pokémon I managed to add to my camp.

Well, a little level 12 Dratini recently arrived at my camp. It arrived after I made a soup that attracts blue Pokémon. It's not easy to find this Pokémon, so it felt great to have it among my ranks and since it arrived I tried to take care of it, being that other Pokémon that arrived I used them for training, either to level up or help other Pokémon learn moves; however, this one was just there gaining experience.

Saludos amigos. Como bien saben, soy un fan de Pokémon Quest, un muy buen juego de Pokémon para Android. Es un juego excelente del cual he hablado en varias publicaciones en la comunidad. De hecho, en mi última publicación del juego les hablé sobre Zapdos, el Pokémon Legendario que logré añadir a mi campamento.

Pues bien, hace poco llegó a mi campamento un pequeño Dratini de nivel 12. Llegó después de que hice una sopa que atrae a Pokémon de color azul. No es fácil de encontrar este Pokémon, así que se sintió genial tenerlo entre mis filas y desde que llegó lo intenté cuidar, siendo que otros Pokémon que llegaban los usaba para entrenamientos, ya fuese para subir de nivel o ayudar a que otros Pokémon aprendieran movimientos; sin embargo, este solo estaba ahí ganando experiencia.

Well, while my Dratini and other Pokémon were doing their things, I upgraded my camp with a Dodrio Tent, a Bulbasar Flag and a Charmander Flag. All of these items are elements that improve gameplay, either by providing more ingredients to make soups, to improve trainings, among other things.

These items can be bought in the game's internal market, either with credits (the game's currency) or real money, although the ones I got are not bought with real money, but with credits. Later on I will show you other things that must be bought with real money, but that is a topic for another post.

Pues bien, mientras mi Dratini y otros Pokémon hacían sus cosas, yo mejoré mi campamento con una Tienda Dodrio, una Bandera Bulbasar y una Bandera Charmander. Todos estos objetos son elementos que mejoran la jugabilidad, ya sea aportando más ingredientes para hacer sopas, para mejorar los entrenamientos, entre otras cosas.

Estos objetos se pueden comprar en el mercado interno del juego, ya sea con créditos (la moneda del juego) o son dinero real, aunque estos que yo obtuve no se compran con dinero real, sino con créditos. Ya más adelante les mostraré otras cosas que sí se deben comprar con dinero real, pero ese es tema para otra publicación.

Well, during my game I managed to make other Pokémon level up and evolve. One of the most useful of those that you can see in the image below is Golbat, because it has an attack that makes the Pokémon fall asleep and do not make any special attack, although it does not work with other Pokémon that make physical attacks, those do continue to hit. Still, it is a very useful attack of this powerful Golbat.

Pues bien durante mi juego logré hacer que otros Pokémon subieran de nivel y evolucionaran. Uno de los más útiles de los que pueden ver en la imagen de abajo es Golbat, pues tiene un ataque con el que hace que los Pokémon se duerman y no hagan ningún ataque especial, aunque no funciona con otros Pokémon que hacen ataques físicos, esos sí continúan golpeando. Aún así, es un ataque muy útil el de este poderodo Golbat.

Well, a curious thing about Dratini is that it is a difficult Pokémon to evolve. While other Pokémon evolve at level 18 or 20, Dratini evolves to Dragonair at level 31, something impressive being that others reach its final stage at level 36 or similar levels.

But there was this mighty Dragonair, I was one step away from getting my mighty Dragonite, although this is harder said than done, because to make this Dratini reach level 31 and evolve, it took me a lot of expeditions, but a LOT of expeditions.

Pues bien, algo curioso de Dratini es que es un Pokémon difícil de hacer evolucionar. Mientras que otros Pokémon evolucionan con niveles 18 o 20, Dratini evoluciona a Dragonair en nivel 31, algo impresionante siendo que otros llegan a su etapa final en nivel 36 o niveles similares.

Pero ahí estaba este poderoso Dragonair, estaba a un paso menos de obtener a mi poderoso Dragonite, aunque esto es más difícil hacerlo que decirlo, pues para hacer que este Dratini llegara a nivel 31 y evolucionara, me tomó un montón de expediciones, pero MUCHAS expediciones.

In spite of everything, I managed to get Dratini to level 40 by doing expeditions where he faced many bosses. This allows him to level up a lot, although I must clarify that as you level up, it becomes more difficult to reach the next level.

For example, it must be about 10 times more difficult to go from level 40 to 41 than from level 1 to level 10, so reaching the goal of level 55 to evolve Dragonite seemed like an unreachable goal.

A pesar de todo, logré hacer que Dratini obtuviera el nivel 40 haciendo expediciones en donde enfrentara muchos jefes. Esto permite que aumente mucho el nivel, aunque debo aclarar que a medida que subes de nivel, se vuelve más difícil alcanzar el siguiente.

Por ejemplo, debe ser unas 10 veces más difícil pasar de nivel 40 a 41 que de nivel 1 a nivel 10, así que llegar a la meta de nivel 55 para hacer evolucionar a Dragonite, se veía como una meta inalcanzable.

Still, I continued to go on expeditions. My team usually consisted of Magneton and Blastoise, my two most powerful Pokémon, who accompanied Dragonair, much weaker than the two of them. Dragonair usually ended up defeated, but Blastoise and Magneton made the job easier and allowed me to complete expeditions.

Aún así, continué haciendo expediciones. Mi equipo normalmente estaba compuesto por Magneton y Blastoise, mis dos Pokémon más poderosos, que acompañaban a Dragonair, mucho más débil que ellos dos. Dragonair normalmente terminaba derrotado, pero Blastoise y Magneton facilitaban el trabajo y me permitían completar las expediciones.

Well, at a certain point, my level 54 Dragonair made its last expedition and managed to reach level 55. I must say that it felt very satisfying to achieve this. I had made other Pokémon evolve, but this one really took me a while, it wasn't easy but it took patience, perseverance and the help of that pair of tanks Blastoise and Magneton.

Pues bien, llegado a cierto punto, mi Dragonair de nivel 54 hizo su última expedición y logró llegar al nivel 55. Debo decir que se sintió muy satisfactorio lograr esto. Había hecho que otros Pokémon lograran evolucionar, pero este realmente me costó bastante, no fue fácil pero requirió paciencia, constancia y la ayuda de aquel par de tanques como lo son Blastoise y Magneton.

And there was my Dragonite, in my camp. I must say that this was the goal, but the game continued and now it was that I could continue playing with my Dragonite in each expedition, making it grow even more so that it would reach the same level of its other even stronger companions.

I managed to catch a moment when I was next to Charizard, another of my highest level Pokémon, but not the strongest, in fact even though they have a level difference of one 20, Charizard 75 or so and Dragonite of about 55, these two would give each other a good fight at their best.

Y ahí estaba mi Dragonite, en mi campamento. Debo decir que esta era la meta, pero el juego continuaba y ahora era que podría seguir jugando con mi Dragonite en cada expedición, haciendolo crecer aún más para que llegase al mismo nivel de sus otros compañeros aún más fuertes.

Logré captar un momento en el que estaba al lado de Charizard, otro de mis Pokémon de más alto nivel, pero no los más fuertes, de hecho aunque tengan una diferencia de nivel de uno 20, Charizard 75 mas o menos y Dragonite de 55 aproximadamente, estos dos se darían una buena pelea en su mejor estado.
