I've had my fair share of hockey-related injuries...But never got hit in the face...I'm not a handsome chap so don't need any help from a fast-moving hockey ball! :) Good story.

Hockey is brutal! For what is essentially a non-contact sport I reckon it must cause substantially more serious injuries than almost any other any other non-contact sport. I've seen a guy have his leg broken by a hockey ball so relatively speaking I was lucky
