My Actifit Report Card: July 16 2022

Today was a glorious day filled with lavender cutting, weedeating, an evening stroll, and even a sedate swing in a hammock. Yes, I know that’s not actually activity, but I really loved it!

The days are starting to shrink in daylight hours and I’m noticing it already. Maybe my animal friends are noticing it too. Today was the day of the hummingbird here on the farm. While I sat on my porch sipping coffee and reading Listnerds emails a couple little hummingbirds frolicked around us incessantly. The most peculiar behavior happened while I was swinging in the hammock though, a tiny little female hummingbird fluttered just above me, she’d even land on the branch just above my head and peer down at me in a most inquisitive manner.

I guess she knew that lounging in the hammock doesn’t count as “activity” too 😉
