Hello Hive, hello the sporty ones (and those who try to become it) !

Yesterday morning, new running session with @altheana.
We tested something different : run right after waking up, rather than at the end of the day. And sincerely ? Best choice.

It’s crazy how the brain finds fewer excuses at 9am than at 6pm, when we are mentally drained from our day.

This time, we changed route. Usually, we stay on the green path behind our place. Last Saturday, we ran on the road. And there, we wanted a bit more raw nature. In the other direction than usual, there is a more "trail" path, a bit more uneven, a bit more alive. Running in there is not the same sport as running on the road.

It was 17 degrees yesterday morning. Perfect.
Not yet the suffocating heat of the 28°C afternoons. Just what’s needed to breathe well.

And it was felt.
Indeed, from the first strides, good sensations. No heavy legs, no mind saying “I don’t want to”.

The training is the same for 4 weeks :
• 2 minutes of running
• 2 minutes of pause
• to repeat 8 times

Simple, but effective. We start to clearly feel the progress.

We only have two sessions like this left before moving to level 3.
And frankly, I think we are ready. The breath in any case is ready. All that makes us miss sessions is only the mind or a bad preparation (bad food the day before for example).

The downside of this hour, it’s that it’s the hour at which we should start working. So I received several calls, SMS and emails for work.

Ideally, we should leave earlier. But for that, we must wake up even earlier and so, go to bed much less late the day before. Which is not easy.

On the graph of my training done thanks to my connected ring, we clearly see the 8 repetitions of our training. The training lasted around 35 minutes and the elevation gain of 24m was more important than usual. Especially as it was done very quickly.
