My Actifit Report Card: January 30 2026

Hello Hive!

Today was a good day. At the moment, I'm really motivated, both for my freelance work and for my personal projects. So when it was time to go running, I was eager to test the new training session provided by my app runquest10k.com, which I released last week.

@altheana also went running, but we weren't following the same program, so we quickly lost sight of each other. Each at our own pace, each with our own goals.

My session was simple on paper: 50 minutes of running without stopping, at my easy pace (EF). That means an pace where I can still hold a conversation without being out of breath. For me today, that was around 7 min/km. In the end, I covered a little over 6 km in 50 minutes. Not bad, considering my final goal is to run 10 km in 1 hour.

The weather wasn't particularly nice, but no big clouds either. It was fine, until the end when I hit some strong headwind. The kind that makes you feel like you're running in place. But I kept going.

That's also the advantage of using your own app on a daily basis: you notice the little things to improve, the bugs to fix. I already have a few updates in mind. Building something and using it yourself is honestly one of the best feedback loops.

Aujourd'hui, c'était une bonne journée. En ce moment, je suis vraiment motivé, autant pour mes missions freelance que pour mes projets personnels. Du coup, quand il a été l'heure d'aller courir, j'avais hâte de tester le nouvel entraînement fourni par mon application runquest10k.com, que j'ai sortie la semaine dernière.

@altheana est aussi partie courir, mais nous n'avions pas le même programme, donc on s'est vite perdus de vue. Chacun à son rythme, chacun avec ses objectifs.

Ma séance était simple sur le papier : 50 minutes de course sans m'arrêter, à mon allure lente (EF). C'est-à-dire une allure où je suis capable de parler sans être essoufflé. Pour moi aujourd'hui, c'était environ 7 min/km. Au final, j'ai parcouru un peu plus de 6 km en 50 minutes. Pas mal, sachant que l'objectif final est de courir 10 km en 1 heure.

Le temps n'était pas spécialement beau, mais pas de gros nuages non plus. C'était correct, jusqu'à la fin où j'ai pris un bon vent de face. Le genre qui te donne l'impression de courir sur place. Mais j'ai tenu.

C'est aussi l'avantage d'utiliser sa propre application au quotidien : on remarque les petits détails à améliorer, les bugs à corriger. J'ai déjà quelques mises à jour en tête. Construire quelque chose et l'utiliser soi-même, c'est honnêtement l'une des meilleures boucles de feedback.
