I am not a very big fan of Manchester City but I won't deny the fact that I love good football and I enjoy seeing players do the extraordinary for their side.

A few clubs in the Premier League this season are doing better than we have seen them do last season. Their coaches have done many technical upgrades to the team but the introduction of some fresh legs seems to be doing the magic for the clubs.

The transfer window is always an opportunity for clubs to strengthen themselves with players that can take the club to the next level and some clubs made the right move.

After watching Erling Haaland last night, I said to myself that "Manchester City must have found the missing piece"

This might sound like an exaggeration because Manchester City has been one of the clubs that strikes fear in the heart of their opponents for some seasons now due to the quality of the team. We have seen them dominate the Premier League but their UEFA Competition story doesn't befit their honor as a club and Haaland could just bring Manchester City Uefa's dream to reality if he continues at this form against the big boys in the knockout stage of the competition.

The Premier League is the toughest in the world for me but some reason, it looks like we have been exaggerating all this while. After 8 matches, Erling Haaland is 9 goals away from equaling Salah and Son's 23 goals that won them golden boots in the 2021/22 Premier League season.

14 goals in 8 matches sound incredible to me for a new player in the league, he might be in one of the best clubs in the world and that does count to an extent. Some strikers wouldn't still match his record at the moment if they were given the opportunity he has and I will say if Guardiola did nothing right this season, bringing Haaland is enough.

Bournemouth is the only team he didn't score against this season in all competitions, every other club he played against has tasted his poison. He isn't just doing his magic in the league alone, Manchester City Uefa Champions league opponents are feeling his heat. He has a formidable team behind him that can help him end Manchester City Champions League struggles.

It is too early to say because the competition is still a long way to go. Judging from the previous group stage performance, Manchester City will make it out of the group as usual but what lies ahead can't be predicted since we have the likes of Bayern Munich, Napoli, Real Madrid, and others who are doing great in the competition.

A lot of people are criticizing his style but does that really matter? Guardiola brought him to score and he is doing that quite well with the help of the players behind him.

Football has never been an individual game, every goal he scores counts not just for him but for the club as well.

Arsenal is enjoying the service of Gabriel Jesus since his arrival from Manchester City. I have understood that a player's happiness in the club they are matters a lot and the question I keep asking myself is Would Gabriel Jesus have done better than he did at Manchester City if the team gave him the chance as they are doing to Haaland now?.

During his time at Manchester City, he wasn't the only goal scorer for the club. Mahrez, Foden, De Bruyne, Sterling, and many others had good numbers of goals every season but it is different in his absence. Kelvin De Bruyne has scored only one out of Manchester City's 29 Premier League goals this season while Mahrez has nothing to his name so far this season.

Jesus isn't one of Manchester City's favorites during his time at the club but many football lovers knew he needed a team and manager that would believe in him. He found one and Mikel Arteta gave him the platform to prove himself to the world and he is doing just that.

He doesn't have lots of goals like Erling Haaland but his impact on Arsenal's attack can't be quantified. Unlike Manchester City midfield doing the biggest part of the job for Erling Haaland, Gabriel Jesus is involved in not just scoring but building up goals. His presence hasn't stopped other players from striking the net and that tells a lot about Arsenal's teamwork.

Arsenal currently sits at the top of the Premier League table and Jesus' impact can't be quantified, he has got the potential and he is taking Arsenal to a better position this season.

The Premier League clubs made lots of good buys this season and we will discuss more. This is not the end, stay tuned for the next episode of "Money well spent" by Premier League clubs.

Immediately I saw the title of this post, Erling Haaland came to mind. The young lad has a lot of sauce and he's scoring bangers in all competition. Wow. Seems like the golden boot winner will have to be decided before January. Haha.

Gabriel Jesus is also doing a very good job. I can't wait for Nunez to also join the party.

I expected a lot from Darwin, his rating was on a level with Haaland on arrival but the red card changed everything for him. I can't wait to see him get into the competition properly.

I want to see Salah return to scoring ways as well, I have missed the team I saw last season.

Exactly. Liverpool have been awful this season and they have also been struggling especially Trent.

Trent does so much in attack and our lack of enough creativity in midfield makes Trent to always be upfront. It's understandable for him to make mistakes defensively if he always has to run up and down every minute.

I hope Trent plays in midfield while Gomez handles the RB position. We need to see how that works

Haaland Haaland I am beginning to think Manchester City cheated Dortmund in that Haaland deal, the guy is a menace give him the ball and he will score. City might just win the Champions League.

Lolz he has delivered more than the money he was bought. Performing so well on his arrival to the league is really amazing.

I hope he can keep the form for long, he will break and set record in Manchester City.
