The relegation struggle isn't over.

Six teams will play their outstanding matches in the English Premier League on Thursday night and the matches would have an impact on the last teams that would be relegated to the Championship for the next season.

Everton, Leeds United, and Burnley are still tied together at the bottom of the league, today's matches would determine what we should expect on the last day of the league. Without the outstanding matches, we would have waited patiently for the last league matches on Saturday.

Leeds United is the only team in the relegation tie without an outstanding which could see them get trapped if Everton and Burnley win their matches today, that's easier said than done. Everton had the opportunity to leave the relegation zone completely in their last match but they threw their chances in the dust against Brentford. Branthwaite red card in the 18th minute was a huge blow and Coleman's own goal only made things worse.

Today, they play against Crystal Palace which could be a perfect opportunity for them to secure their spot outside relation but will they take that chance?

Crystal Palace sits safely on the 13th spot and they have nothing to worry about next season but that doesn't mean they would give Everton a cheap victory in the encounter, we all saw how it went in the first leg of the Premier League. Everton lost to Crystal Palace 3 - 1 in the first leg and 4 - 0 in the FA Cup, they surely won't be going easy on Everton.

They have the home advantage to themselves coupled with the pressure of escaping relegation, Everton could get all three points but I remain on the fact that it wouldn't be an easy one.

Everton currently has 36 points, one above Leeds United and two above Burnley, they have the biggest chance of getting out of relegation, two points is okay to help them survive relegation since Leeds United have conceded more goals than them but I doubt if they will risk relegation survival on such assumption.

Burnley sits on the hottest seat right now and it could end up badly for them if the team fails to get a victory from today's match against Aston Villa, the same team that dismantled them about 12 days ago on their home ground.

They will travel to Villa Park this time which won't be an easy one for them, Burnley needs 4 points to escape relegation depending on Leeds United results in their last match and I can't confidently say that they will get a point from their two remaining matches this season. Aston Villa will be a hard nut to crack likewise Newcastle in their last match of the season, we saw how they wiped Arsenal out over the weekend and they might end up inflicting more pain on the Burnley team.

Should we expect something aside from my predictions, only 90 minutes will tell? Feel free to share your thoughts about the teams tied up in the relegation zone.

Terrible season for Leeds I don't think they will be saved from relegation, the one more likely to keep the category is Everton.

Without any doubt the Premier League is the most competitive league of all, exciting from start to finish, there is not only competition in the race for the title but also for the Champions League places and also for not being relegated, it is exciting from start to finish, we will see who ends up being relegated, but everything seems to indicate that it will be Leeds, we will see.

I'm am going to write about Everton tomorrow. I can't believe they escaped it. Either Leeds or Burnley would go down.

I was surprised as well, they came from 2 - 0 down to win the match. Leeds and Burnley have tight fixtures and it would be hard to guess who will go through.

It's hard to know who will go down. Burnley v Newcastle and Brentford v Leeds. This is tough.

A draw for both teams will keep things the way they are, Newcastle would be a huge problem for Burnley.

Newcastle v Burnley is my problem. That game is unpredictable.

Did you watch that Everton's game? I was watching and I didn't watch the second half since they were already 2-0 down. Only to see the final result as 3-2. Hoooowwww? Impressive
