My Actifit Report Card: October 24 2023

Yesterday, I was in another spectacular place to watch the sunset in Hong Kong: the place is called Ha Pak Lai.

"Ha Pak Lai" is a wetland area located in the Yuen Long District and borders Shenzhen Bay. You must look for minibus number 33 from Tai Fung Street in Yuen Long District to get to this place. I'm not 100% sure if you could come by taxi; also, the road is narrow and just for a single vehicle, and in some areas, the cars need to wait to cross the one coming from the other direction.

The problem with coming here is the minibus frequency because it depends on the number of passengers to depart; sometimes, you will need to wait for 1 hour; however, the waiting time pays the price to see the lovely sunset.

I was so lucky the mud was a little bit hard, so I could walk on it and appreciate the ecosystem of this beautiful place, for example, birds, octopuses and small crafts, and I have seen some people come here to catch octopuses and some other seafood; maybe they can cook it at home later.

In the afternoon, after the sunset, the sea tide would start to rise, but I couldn't see it entirely because it was getting dark, and I needed to go back.
