My Actifit Report Card: December 25 2023
The Christmas tree in West Kowloon Art Park is the tallest in the city, at 19 metres high.
Thousands of people visit this park to take pictures of this lovely and unique Christmas tree. The decorations and lighting are lovely and creative.
Some streets have been closed during Christmas Eve, and thousands of police officers guard the city and prevent any unusual event.
The view is impressive because, in the background, people would appreciate the Hong Kong island with its unique skyscrapers. Most people come to this side of the city because it is an excellent spot to take nice photos.
People can go inside the fence to take closer pictures with the tree; however, they open at 6:00 pm, and the waiting time is around 1 hour; if you have patience and don’t bother you, waiting in the queue is fine. I hate to make queues.
I was so lucky to take this awesome picture because I caught it exactly when the sun was over the star of the Christmas tree.
At night time, during the December weekends, there are also fireworks displays in this park. The time is around 8:00 pm, and for 10 minutes, people can enjoy the extravagant fireworks.
Finally, Christmas Carols are sung by some adults and kids. They sing in Cantonese and English language.
