Equipo de béisbol de Venezuela fue fundado el 31 de octubre de 1962.
La mayoría de sus juegos los han jugado en el estadio de béisbol de la UCV de la capital Caracas, algunos en el César Nieves de Catia la Mar y ya unos pocos en el estadio nuevo de la Guaira en Macuto.

- Oswaldo Guillen, único venezolano ganador de una serie mundial con las medias blancas de Chicago en el mlb grandes ligas.
- Carlos el café Martínez, un pelotero de gran proyección, falleció joven, sus hijos también siguieron su legado con el cafecito Martines y Teodoro Martínez
- Luis Salazar, una tercera base de excelencia.
- Entre otros y de no menos importancia para este club Raúl Pérez Tovar, Ángel Bravo y otros.

Actualmente, es parte de este equipo y jugó en la temporada 2022 -2023 el grande liga Ronald Acuña Jr
Pertenece en mlb a los bravos de Atlanta, este jugador está viviendo una gran temporada y es candidato a MVP.
Por cierto, este gran jugador acaba de lograr algo nunca antes realizado, llego a más de 60 bases robadas y más de 30 home runs, al día de hoy domingo lleva 32 home run y 63 bases robadas.
Le queda el mes de septiembre para conectar 8 batazos de home run y logrará el famoso 40 40 Y así afianzar más su candidatura para el jugador más valioso de la liga nacional de las ligas mayores.
Sequía en la Guaira
Los tiburones de la guaira tienen una racha que ningún equipo quiere tener y es que tienen ya 37 años sin saborear un campeonato en Venezuela desde el año 1986, ellos han ganado 7 campeonatos de la liga venezolana y ninguno de serie del Caribe.
la temporada pasada vivieron una final de película donde tuvieron a su super estrella Ronald Acuña jr pero los leones del Caracas rugieron más
En fin los tiburones son un gran equipo y tienen un excelente estadio, ya han iniciado los preparativos para una nueva campaña y los fanáticos están preparados.
Otra cosa y de igual importancia tienen una fanaticada grande y cuenta con la Samba de la guaira. Este es un grupo que los acompañan con tambores y su samba en los juegos de local
Este año y por muchos más escucharemos el pa encima, el lema de estos tiburones de la guaira.
Para cerrar no soy fanático de los tiburones de la guaira, pero hice un paseo por macuto y logré entrar al estadio y me pareció bueno contarles un poco de la historia de este gran equipo de los tiburones de la guaira, saludos a todos sus fanáticos y a la gente de la guaira,este hermoso estado
Me encanta el deporte y sumado al gusto por las fotografías son dos pasatiempos que se juntaron en esta visita a este hermoso estadio, la vista al mar atrás de los jardines es grandiosa.
Se me olvidaba, aquí se realizaron juegos de la serie del Caribe que se hizo aquí en Venezuela.
Este estadio cuenta con un hotel y casino, además se extiende un malecón o bulevar por varios kilómetros que se llena de visitantes donde la gente camina, se toma sus bebidas y disfruta el aire del mar.
