That is really cool that his dad and him were able to share this passion together. Its nice to see his father was able to share his love for the sport, and encourage his son without becoming too overbearing. It is a bit sad when you see parents forcing their kid to do what they did, but it is really magic when that passion is clearly shared, and that generational wisdom is appreciated.

dad helped him for sure, but the dad was not that great as he was also abusive to the family and reportedly beat the mother up and the kids had a hard time too. Yes there was passion involved because his son shared the same interest which is great.
Damn, well at least they had something good to share together. Hopefully their family can find some peace.
I think they have found peace already as the dad is involved in his life these days.
